The voice at night

Oh my god, I cant believe that I met ghost last night in first stay in the new apartment at 911 Bernard street. I tried to sleep since 1 am. , but after I lain down on a mattress I heard a voice beneath the mattress. It was not a speech, but a sound like mice's. It wass so weird that when I prayed for someone I believe in, that voice was disappeared and when I stopped praying, it began. Oh my god again. I didnt know what to do. I was too scare to walk on the floor, so I only cried and cried for help. The night was passsed so slowly. I felt asleep sometime, but that voice always woke me up. I hope tonight will come late and pass very quickly. I also hope that in one day someone in my room and I will live together with happily. I dont mean to let him go, the thing I need is "please tell me what is the next lotto number"

What, if anything, should be done to protect small, local retailers from the expansion of large chain stores throughout Thailand?

Nowadays, the rapid expansion of a large chain store, Carrefour , is so high that it affects the local retailers. The Thai government should play an important role in preventing this effect by cooperating with small shops and giving economics knowledge. As we know, a strong point of the large chain store is that the costs are very cheap when comparing with small shops. The giant store has the power of purchasing, so the government should give the power to small retailers by establishing cooperation. If the government and small shops are cooperative, small shops will have more power to bargain with vendors because they can buy a larger amount of items. This action will cause lower material capital and also lower cost. In addition, although Thailand has recently announced FTA (Free Trade Area) with many countries such as USA, Japan, and Australia, the government should intervene in the local economic system by giving economics knowledge to strengthen the small shops. Some of the owners of local shops are uneducated and follow the selling way from their ancestors’ way; consequently, their shops are unattractive. The authorities can set up workshops about how a shop should be displayed or how to select the goods that attract consumers. As a result, their shop can sell more and can compete with large stores. In brief, because of the rapid expansion of large chain stores in Thailand, the government can help the local business to solve problem by cooperating with small shops and providing knowledge about the economy.

We didnt mean to go to sea (1)

"We didnt mean to go to sea" is my chosen book. It is a kind of book for children for it is mainly about kids' adventure. I am not rejuvenate or wish to return to the childhood ; however, I just want to remind the time when everything is so exciting. Now I finish chapter 1. The main characters are firstly introduced in a ship. They have one little boat but they never go to the sea. I read until this and think of the book's name. It such a beautiful name. Surprisingly, there is a song which has the same name of this book "We didnt mean to go to sea" from Declan O'Rourke. I dont know him before but I try to know him more.

Wickedness or merit

Makabucha Day is one of the most important Buddhist holiday for 1250 monks came to see Lord Bhudda at Weluwan Wanaram without prior appointment. This miracle phenomena took place around 2500 years ago. In this significant day Buddhism should go to a temple to make merit by freeing birds and fish, listen to the teaching of Lord Bhudda, practice meditation, and in the evening they can participate in "Wien Tien". Every activities above are clearly supported the way of Bhuddism except freeing the animals. It seems to make a wickedness more than to make merit because nowadays freeing birds or fish is a business. On both side of path to temple, there are a lot of merchants with full of birds in cages. In the morning they come to the temple to catch the birds, and then they come to the temple's pond to fish. After that in the late morning Buddhism come to temple and pay a difference cost for a difference kind of fish and birds to do an activity that they believe it is a merit. The Buddhisms and the merchants feel good, but the animals feel sad because they know that their freedom is not last. It such a vicious circle!

Jimmy Liao

"My life is as same as other ordinary people in the world that have no light" is the self-definition of Jimmy Liao who is the most popular Taiwanese writer and illustrator. I have first know him from a-day magazine vol.75 and then I have been crazy with his works until now.
Jimmy, himself, is very simple as he always wears jeans and T-shirt. In contrast, his work are unique and outstanding. He selects the little part of the world to be his characters in his works. He makes his stories different by showing that everything is beautiful if we can see it with love. Aside from his meaningful story, he tells his story by using plain characters but worth to find. Moreover his works inspire the reader to be brave to live for their belief.
It is very important for everyone to have a good book which can inspire us to find out what we really want and let us realise that life is still beautiful.
