"We didnt mean to go to sea" is my chosen book. It is a kind of book for children for it is mainly about kids' adventure. I am not rejuvenate or wish to return to the childhood ; however, I just want to remind the time when everything is so exciting. Now I finish chapter 1. The main characters are firstly introduced in a ship. They have one little boat but they never go to the sea. I read until this and think of the book's name. It such a beautiful name. Surprisingly, there is a song which has the same name of this book "We didnt mean to go to sea" from Declan O'Rourke. I dont know him before but I try to know him more.

Wickedness or merit

Makabucha Day is one of the most important Buddhist holiday for 1250 monks came to see Lord Bhudda at Weluwan Wanaram without prior appointment. This miracle phenomena took place around 2500 years ago. In this significant day Buddhism should go to a temple to make merit by freeing birds and fish, listen to the teaching of Lord Bhudda, practice meditation, and in the evening they can participate in "Wien Tien". Every activities above are clearly supported the way of Bhuddism except freeing the animals. It seems to make a wickedness more than to make merit because nowadays freeing birds or fish is a business. On both side of path to temple, there are a lot of merchants with full of birds in cages. In the morning they come to the temple to catch the birds, and then they come to the temple's pond to fish. After that in the late morning Buddhism come to temple and pay a difference cost for a difference kind of fish and birds to do an activity that they believe it is a merit. The Buddhisms and the merchants feel good, but the animals feel sad because they know that their freedom is not last. It such a vicious circle!
